Tanglewood Manor Golf Course is a public 18-hole golf course located in Quarryville, Pennsylvania.
Tanglewood Manor Golf Course first opened for play in 1965. The course was designed by George Fazio.
Tanglewood Manor Golf Course is consistently well maintained. The fairways are tree lined. The terrain on the front nine is flat, and the terrain on the back nine is hilly. Water hazards from two man-made ponds which come into play on some holes.
The par 72 hole course features 6,437 yards of golf from the longest tees, 6,057 yards from the white tees, and plays to 5,369 yards from the red tee boxes. The longest hole on the course is # 18, a par-5 that plays to 549 yards. The shortest hole on the course is # 16, a par-3 that plays to 141 yards from the back tees.
Watch out for # 8, a 462 yard par-4 challenge and the #1 handicap hole on the course. The easiest hole at Tanglewood Manor Golf Course is # 16, a 141 yard par-3.

Tanglewood is a top notch mid range price course. They cater to Seniors with weekday 20% frequent player program and also offer a player pass to the public in conjunction with two area courses that provides a 20% discount. Definitely worth playing and if you live in the area you'll probably go back.

Tanglewood has consistently excellent greens. Fairways and bunkers are good but not excellent. Layout is interesting enough, with some risk / reward holes. Price has steadily climbed to the point where it is no longer the value it once was. I take issue with one point in the course description for this course. Hole #16 might be the shortest hole at Tanglewood, but it is far from the easiest. The turtle back, severely inclined green virtually guarantees a bogey for any shot above or lateral to the hole. It is very easy to putt right off the green. There are several short, innocous par 4's at Tanglewood that are much easier than #16. They are right about #8, though.. That is a big boy's hole.

The somewhat poor condition of the course was due to the hot and rain free weather. Normally this course is in excellent condition.

Great place to play! - Challenging, yet forgiving! Staff is the best.

Play this course a lot. Weather permitting this course is the best in it's price range. Could improve bunkers a bit , greens are super.
